CARLOS SOSA aka DJ SNEAK is amongst our most influential HOUSE MUSIC artist, he changed our lives. The first track we ever listen to from DJ Sneak was TRIBAL SEX in 1995, instantly hooked. The first impression that we had was « Wow! This is disco from the future, completely out of this world, hypnotic, insane« , driving any dancefloor into an instant madness…

After this, it was too late we wanted to do House music no matter what. The euphoria and positive feeling that this music gives in incomparable, mind-blowing, letting you ask for more, and there is nothing else like this. It brings you back to your essence, your inner vibe, it makes you feel part of the universe, it makes you feel alive…

From them we were fans, following DJ SNEAK‘s releases, collecting his records, also starting to make our own beats. We saw him live for the first time was in December 2001 in Paris. It was for a special event organised by the label CRYDAMOURE at the ELYSEE MONTMATRE entitled Toy Club 2001 – CRYDAMOURE présente la soirée des jouets. The concept was really nice; the entrance was free if you brought a new unopened toy. It would be later given to an orphanage, sweet action. The set was amazing, the place was packed and everybody was high on sound, such an incredible feeling.

The first time we spoke with DJ SNEAK was in September 2004. We went to his show in Paris at the TERRASSA party, on the Seine River. We spent a few minutes chatting about music on the upper deck of the boat after his set and I handled him our new release: The DYREC02. We were so excited to give a promo to the man that led us to House music. Amazing feeling…

Ever since, he is the Dj that we have seen the most numerous time. We go to his show at least twice a year, this, wherever in the world we are, always the same pleasure ;)

He is a true authentic House music defender, wherever goes the music, whatever it becomes; he carries on his own way, delivering always the original HOUSE MUSIC vibe. Respect!

To start off this first episode and as an introduction to the ORIGINAL HOUSE GANSTER, we are going to listen and enjoy a selection of what is DJ SNEAK‘s sound, and why it is so important and influential to us.
