During the last couple of years, Amsterdam based duo Lars Dales & Maarten Smeets aka Detroit Swindle have produced a fairly high number of A-grade Underground House tunes. Detroit Swindle released records on renowned indie labels around the world such as UK James Huxley’s Saint’s & Sonnets, Australian Tsuba Records or FreeRange Records that helped gaining major support. In June 2013, Detroit Swindle really broke through with their now Classic Deep House Hit The Break Up released on their brand new record label Heist.
Even if The Detroit Swindle are quite new in the House scene, their releases are mature, brilliant, catchy but never cheesy, blending everything from House to Hip-Hop, dropping Soul Music samples always with refinement.
Detroit Swindle set up their own record label Heist in 2013 that quickly became one of the most hyped Deep House labels to watch out for. With young and promissing artists such as Frits Wentink, Max Graef or Andy Hart, Detroit Swindle‘s label Heist is absolutely flawless.
Earlier this summer Detroit Swindle released their debut album entitled Boxed Out on Berliner’s Dirt Crew Recordings. This Electronic album compiling some of the best Detroit Swindle‘s tunes and unreleased mid-tempo tracks is the proof that a new generation of talented House Music producers is here to stand and really deserve its audience.
But for now, let’s play our 40 minutes minicast of pure Underground House with Le Spot On… Detroit Swindle !
