Berlin based producer Max Graef is one of the most gifted up-and-coming artist of the Deep House scene. The twenty one years old German talent made his debut in 2013 on Tartelet Records and on Melbourne Deepcast with a very nice release entitled The Love Tapes. Max reached a wider audience with his now classic Deep House Broken Keyboard EP released on Detroit Swindles‘ Label Heist in October 2013.
Even if Max Graef is quite young and new-coming in the House scene, his releases are mature and well rounded, blending everything from House to Hip-Hop & Bass with subtlety.
Max Graef set up his own record label Box Aus Holz in 2012 that quickly became a hub for upcoming producers focussing on Raw House & Disco with very young and promissing artists such as Wun Two, Glenn Astro or The Ivory Boy.
Earlier this spring Max Graef released his debut album Rivers of the Red Planet. This great electronic opus is the proof that a new generation of talented House Music producers is emerging right now and with outstanding artists like Max Graef or Frits Wentink, there’s no doubt the Future of Deep House will be very well represented in the forthcoming years.
