It’s November and we are back to deliver our monthly STUDIO 514 session!
This week, the time machine is set to get back to 1981-1982. At this very special period of time, Disco/Funk Music was in mutation. Tempo slowed down, synthesizers started to replace electric bass and drummers tried to mimic the drum machines. The sound was then really tight and quite avant-garde thanks to this electronic flavour.

As a first episode and introduction to this new program, we are pleased to announce you the birth of the STUDIO 514.
The name is an obvious reference to the famous late 70s NYC disco nightclub which I do need to name ;)
514 is the area code of our beloved home City, Montreal. So here we are… STUDIO 514.
